Mother Teresa

Some beautiful quotes from Mother Teresa:

Do not think that love, in order to be genuine, has to be extraordinary. What we need is to love without getting tired.

Every time you smile at someone, it is an action of love, a gift to that person, a beautiful thing.

In the end of our lives, we will not be judged by how many diplomas we have received, how much money we have made or how many great things we have done. We will be judged by ‘I was hungry and you gave me to eat. I was naked and you clothed me. I was homeless and you took me in'.

I think today the world is upside down, and is suffering so much because there is so very little love in the home, and in family life. We have no time for our children, we have no time for each other, there is no time to enjoy each other.

Love begins at home; love lives in homes, and that is why there is so much suffering and so much unhappiness in the world today...Everybody today seems to be in such a terrible rush, anxious for greater developments and greater riches and so on, so that children have very little time for their parents. Parents have very little time for each other, and in the home begins the disruption of the peace of the world.

If you judge people, you have no time to love them.

I have found the paradox, that if you love until it hurts, there can be no more hurt, only more love.

I am not sure exactly what heaven will be like, but I do know that when we die and it comes time for God to judge us, he will NOT ask, How many good things have you done in your life?, rather he will ask, How much LOVE did you put into what you did?

You Beauty !!!!!!!!! Finally got a job offer and that too from a company who had previously rejected my application. I simply cant believe it that this is happening to me. It is a pure stroke of luck. Out of 200 applicant they chose me. Well all my hard work has paid off. Computershare is a very big company and I think the career prospects are really good. Whatever I had dreamt of in my childhood is slowly taking its shape although not exactly but cant complain. I am satisfied with whatever GOD has given to me and dont blame HIM for what he has taken away from me. Whatever happens and what had happened in my life is my destiny and I have full faith in myself.

Anyway, I will miss Crossover IT, my previous job, and its people. It was fun working there. But got to move on. I will miss especially one person but I guess that person is not in my luck, although I wish to make good friend. I sincerely hope and wish that person keeps in touch with me !!!!!!!!

UnRoMaNtIc

I love your smile, your face, and your eyes --
Damn, I'm good at telling lies!

Every time I see your face
I wish I were in outer space

I see your face when I am Dreaming
That's why I always wake up Screaming

My love you take my breath away
What have you stepped in to smell this way

My feelings for you no words can tell
Except for maybe "go to hell"!!

Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet, and so are you.
But the roses are wilting, the Violets are dead, the sugar bowl's empty and so is your head.

After you, my love, my only prize
Would be a bullet between my eyes

Of loving beauty you float with grace
If only you could hide your face

Kind, intelligent, loving and hot
This describes everything you're not

I want to feel your sweet embrace
But don't take that paper bag off of your face

Beauty is on the inside, but some may doubt,
If it's true, I'd prefer you inside out.

What inspired this amorous rhyme?
Two parts vodka, one part lime

Rules for being a HUMAN

Rules for being human -----

You will receive a body. You may like it or hate it but it will be yours for the entire period this time around.

You will learn lessons. You are enrolled in a full-time informal school called life. Each day in this school you will have the opportunity to learn lessons. You may like the lessons or think them irrelevant or stupid.

There are no mistakes, only lessons. Growth is a process of trial and error... experimentation. The failed experiments are as much a part of the process as the experiment that ultimately works.

A lesson is repeated until learned. A lesson will be presented to you in various forms until you have learned it. When you have learned it, you can then go on to the next lesson.

Learning lessons does not end. There is no part of life that does not contain lessons. If you are alive, there are lessons to be learned.

There is no better than here. When your there has become a here, you will simply attain another there that will, again, look better than here.

Others are merely mirrors of you. You cannot love or hate something about another person unless it reflects to you something you love or hate about yourself.

What you make of your life is up to you. You have all the tools and resources you need. What you do with them is up to you. The choice is yours.

The answers are inside you. The answers to life's questions lie inside you. All you need to do is Look, Listen and Trust.

And lastly,

You will forget all this.

The Power of Patience

A famous proverb says that sweet are the fruits of patience which to some extent is true considering the modern life which is geared towards ever greater speed and spirit to achieve within a small span of life in order to save time and to improve efficiency of system. We live in an impatient age trying to make everything and everyone to move according to pace dictated by us and in the process we develop stress which weakens our immune system, irritate our stomach, raises our blood pressure, and strains the heart which in turn spoils the relationship with other persons as human being.

Under the circumstances, we cannot accomplish through will power but what we need is a bit of WAIT POWER i.e. patience. Patience is also the glue that holds the family and society together which in essence is diplomacy and civility without which people cannot work together and society cannot function at all. By becoming more patience, one can help to become more effective, less overwhelmed, less worried, thereby improving our NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) of brain power in order to be more loving and lovable. One should remember that no two stones have equal characteristic and the same applies to two human beings, which are different in nature and nurture. No one does things exactly as you do and therefore how can one expect similar things from other persons as we deem fit and therefore it is more essential to learn the art of patience in today's hectic life.

Remember that you are not sole custodian of interest of others as people have their own ways and whims to understand and solve the problems faced by them. The art of patience can be best learnt from our beloved COMPUTER. Like universe, Computer works in its own speed, rhythm and system. If you give any faulty commands, it will stop to behave properly even if you bang the computer. Similarly, one has to create a power of patience while dealing with any situation in your life. I do not suggest of postponing the problems but to take it easy till system cools down by adopting the power of patience. The history says that great achievements have been accomplished by the people who have learnt the art of patience to achieve their sacred goal in their life. At the end let me conclude by saying that if one cannot develop his way of patience, he will dig his way to become a hospital patient in course of time for the fault created by him.

Some Quotes - Part 1

Some beautiful quotes which I really like...

Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that I am with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence - Pope John Paul II.

Time is the coin of your life. It is the only coin you have, and only you can determine how it will be spent. Be careful lest you let other people spend it for you - Carl Sandburg

This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness - The Dalia Lama.

Principles for Success

Set your mind and keep it set for success.

Man follows the mind i.e. where the mind goes the man goes. Success in life is not an accident but it is a matter of chance. Success is not mystery but the result of consistently applying basic principle followed by successful people in their life. Success is the progressive realization of a worthy goal. Success is getting what you want and happiness is what you get. Success and happiness go hand in hand.

Success is a manifestation of good luck that results from Inspiration, Aspiration, Desperation and Perspiration generally in that sequence. The winning age for success is an excellence and not perfection. Striving for excellence is progress and striving for perfection is neurotic. The successful winner in his life is not ten times smarter than his runner up but he excels by one point/one fraction and the reward for the winner is difference between the price of gold and silver.

One should try for excellence to get success and not for perfection.

Alone or Lonely

I live all alone but I never feel lonely.

According to Oxford dictionary, alone describes a state of the person who is apart from others (i.e solitary) but does not necessarily mean that he is unhappy. Lonely, on the other hand, suggests that someone who doesnt want to be alone and therefore is unhappy.

A loner by choice has inner strength who likes to confine himself to acheive better goals in his life. He gets enough time to know himself, his strengths and weaknesses and how to turn his weakness into his strengths. What is basically needed is his positive outlook towards life and people. The more he tries to understand himself, the more he gets nearer to happiness and may be this is the reason why people prefer to go out to a lonely place once in their lifetime.

A man should find a few moments in a day, a few minutes in a week, a few days in a month and a few weeks in a year just to get a deeper understanding of himself.
